Mora really lit it up for Santa Fe. The Tampico fans let him have it for what he did to their boys. He lost the ball over the fence for three runs in the 5th inning, banged out a single in the 6th inning, hit a one-base hit bringing in two baserunners in the 7th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 15th of the season) in the 9th inning. Santa Fe simply wore out the Tampico pitching staff, scoring in 6 different innings. The win went to Chris Carpenter(9-4) who allowed 4 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings. Jerome Williams(3-11) was the loser. He was not very effective, surrendering 7 runs in 4 innings. Mora was jubilant after the game 'Let me see a box-score' he joked, 'I want to see how that game looks on paper.'
